BANGLADESH - Ahead of the Ramadan, the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) authorities have fixed the price of beef per kilogramme at Tk 450.
The price of buffalo has been fixed per kg at Tk 420 while mutton at Tk 720, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.
According to The Daily Star, the decision came during a meeting between the DSCC and the meat sellers at Nagar Bhaban in the capital, the daily adds.
DSCC mayor Sayeed Khokon, its Chief Executive Officer Khan Mohammad Bilal and its Chief Health Officer Brig Gen Sheikh Salahuddin, among others, were present in the meeting.
